John Pennoyer  > Birds > Ring-necked Pheasants
All of these Ring-necked Pheasants were taken from my winter photo blind right here in Maple Grove, Minnesota. These colorful game birds are without a doubt one of my most challenging birds to take images of. Even though they have never been hunted by people, coyotes in the area keep these game birds as skittish as any pheasant that is seeked by hunters.
