Bald Eagles
Although Minnesota is ranked second to Alaska for nesting population of Bald Eagles (Haliateeus leucocephalus) with 1700 nesting pairs according to 2007 data. My best photography of Bald Eagles were taken at Kachemak Bay in Homer AK, however I still photograph eagles in Minnesota and some of these images were taken at various spots in Minnesota.

on April 15, 2013Solomon; The majority of these eagle images were taken in Homer, AK and was not with a remote camera, this was a common perch the eagle would use and just was patient as he/she came in for a landing!
